Well, it has been quite some time since I have blogged. I intended to begin blogging again a couple of years ago… see post “Revival“, however life has thrown us a few curve balls over the last couple of years, some good, some trying. We have moved closer to work (cheers to no more three-hour commutes), gained Master’s Degrees (yay debt, ahem, I mean higher education!), and the biggest hurdle to my food blogging, I have been diagnosed with celiac.
As a result of all of the above, while navigating these challenges and establishing new and different approaches to cooking, I just didn’t find myself inspired by food, as much as I didn’t want my food intolerances to win, per se, it kind of happened… for a bit.
Good news is, that is no longer the case! Now that I am finished with graduate school, my kids are more independent, and we are settled in our new home, I have more free time to do things I enjoy, like reigniting my passion for cooking!
With the holidays upon us and a new kitchen to break in, I plan on cooking up a storm the next few months! Stay tuned!
